As a Care Worker in our care home, you will support older people with their daily routines and wellbeing, helping residents feel comfortable, respected and well cared for.
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily routines
- Assisting with mobility and helping residents move safely around the home
- Supporting residents during meals and encouraging good nutrition and hydration
- Promoting wellbeing through conversation and meaningful activity
- Updating care records and reporting any changes in wellbeing
- Working closely with colleagues and wider health professionals
- Working on a rota that includes weekends
You will be a dependable and compassionate individual who understands the importance of respectful, person centred care. Previous experience in care is helpful but not essential as training will be provided. You will be willing to learn, contribute to a team environment and maintain high standards of care. If you do not already hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, you will be supported to achieve this qualification.
