Set on Ardrossan seafront, with views towards the Isle of Arran, South Beach House provides residential care for up to 39 older people. Residents are encouraged and supported to maintain their interests and connections with the local community, with regular activities, outings and social opportunities forming part of everyday life. As a Night Care Worker with CrossReach, you'll help ensure the people we support feel safe, comfortable and well cared for throughout the night. You'll provide personal and practical assistance, respond to individual needs and help maintain a calm, respectful environment where people can rest with confidence. You'll also play an important part in maintaining continuity of care, making sure colleagues have the information they need when the next shift begins. Provide personal care and practical assistance during the night, respecting individual routines and preferences. * Support people with mobility, comfort and other overnight care needs. * Carry out appropriate checks in line with individual care plans. * Recognise and report changes in health, behaviour or wellbeing. * Maintain accurate records and share important information during shift handovers. Previous care experience is welcome, but it's not essential. If you don't already hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, you'll be supported to work towards achieving it with CrossReach. You'll need to be comfortable providing personal care, responding to people's needs and working independently when required during overnight shifts. At CrossReach, we recognise that quality care matters just as much during the night as it does during the day. Ready to make a difference during the night? Firstly, there is access to a wide range of exclusive retail and leisure discounts through our rewards scheme and the Blue Light Discount card. We also ensure that your future and that of your loved ones is secured with a generous contributory pension plan and death in service benefit. Balancing work and family are made easier with our suite of enhanced family friendly policies and your health and wellness are prioritised with access to our health cash plan, giving you cash back for a wide range of health treatments.
