Overview

As a Senior Children’s Worker, you’ll play a vital role in shaping their journey, supporting not just their daily needs, but their hopes and aspirations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care.
- Act as keyworker, helping shape and review individual care plans.
- Promote inclusion, empowerment, and access to community services.
- Represent the service at reviews and meetings.
- Model excellent social care practice and behaviour support strategies.
- Take responsibility for medication, finances, and staff coordination.
- Share in worship and uphold our Christian ethos in daily practice.
What You Bring
You bring a genuine interest in supporting children and young people with disabilities, along with experience in managing challenging behaviour and working in a care setting. You’re confident using Microsoft Office and the internet, and ideally hold (or are committed to gaining) HNC and SVQ3 qualifications in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People). You’re registered with the SSSC, a member of the PVG Scheme, and your Christian faith is central to how you work and lead others with grace and compassion.
