We are looking for a Relief Day Care Worker to join our team and help provide high‑quality care and support to people attending our day care service. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support service users with their physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing, promoting dignity, independence and inclusion in a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting personal care and daily living needs.
- Encouraging participation in activities and social interaction.
- Assisting with meals, refreshments and maintaining a clean environment.
- Following care plans and maintaining accurate records.
- Working in line with health and safety requirements and organisational policies.
Qualifications:
- Compassionate, patient and flexible with a genuine desire to help others.
- Comfortable working in different situations and as part of a wider team.
- Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential.
- Hold or be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare.
- Membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC are required.
- Respect for the Christian Ethos and ability to work within it.
