As a Relief Care Worker with CrossReach, youâll support older people to live with dignity, comfort and joy. Youâll step in when needed to provide consistent, person-centred care and help create a warm, safe environment where everyone feels valued.
This flexible role is ideal if youâre looking to gain experience, return to care work or support when your schedule allows.

About You
Youâre kind, patient and dependable. You bring a caring nature and a genuine wish to make a difference to older peopleâs lives. You have respect for CrossReachâs Christian ethos and are comfortable working within it.
Ideally, youâll hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care, or be willing to work towards it with support. Youâll need basic computer skills, SSSC registration and PVG Scheme membership.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
