As a Cook with CrossReach, you’ll help create a welcoming environment where every meal offers warmth, dignity and connection to adults with complex needs.
What Your Day Could Involve:
- Planning varied, nutritious menus in consultation with the Service Manager
- Preparing meals, snacks and home baking using fresh, quality ingredients
- Catering for individual dietary needs and personal preferences
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety
- Supporting special occasions and community events with thoughtful catering
- Encouraging service user involvement in meal preparation where appropriate
About You:
You take pride in preparing food that makes people feel cared for. You are practical, creative and understand how good food can support wellbeing and recovery. You will have previous catering experience, an Elementary Food Handling Certificate (or be willing to gain one), and a working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation. Basic IT skills and membership of the PVG Scheme are also required.
