As a Relief Care Worker with CrossReach, you will provide flexible support across our service, helping ensure older people continue to receive safe, compassionate and consistent care. This role is ideal if you value variety while still making a meaningful difference.
What your role will involve:
- Providing personal and intimate care with dignity and respect
- Supporting daily routines, meals and activities
- Working across services as required to support continuity of care
- Acting as a key worker where appropriate
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
- Ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues on shift
About you:
You are caring, reliable and adaptable, with a positive approach to supporting older people. Experience in care is welcome but not essential. You will be comfortable using basic IT systems, willing to register with the SSSC and join the PVG Scheme, and either hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards it. You will also be respectful of the Christian ethos of CrossReach.
