Our Client is looking to recruit a National Sales Manager with experience in the Industrial and Architectural lighting marketplace. Are you a high-performing sales leader within the lighting industry, with experience across industrial and architectural sectors, ready to take ownership of a national strategy and drive significant revenue growth?
We are partnering with a well-established and growing lighting manufacturer to appoint a National Sales Manager to lead and develop sales performance across the UK.
The Company
A UK-based lighting manufacturer operating on a global scale, specialising in luminaires and advanced lighting control systems. Its headquarters are located in the UK and runs a large, modern manufacturing facility and supports a workforce of 300 hundred employees in the UK.
The Role
This is a strategic and hands-on position, responsible for delivering national sales growth across industrial, commercial, and architectural lighting markets, engaging both specification and contractor channels.
You will:
- Develop and execute a national sales strategy across industrial and architectural lighting sectors
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 regional sales professionals to maximise performance
- Drive specification-led opportunities with architects, consultants, and lighting designers
- Engage with contractors and distributors to support project delivery and product pull-through
- Build and manage a pipeline of high-value industrial and architectural projects
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and senior leadership teams
About You
Proven track record in lighting sales leadership, ideally within industrial and/or architectural lighting. Experience managing and developing small, high-performing sales teams (circa 5 people). Strong experience across specification, contractor, and wholesale/distribution channels. Demonstrated success in delivering growth within project-led environments. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence at all levels. Established network across architects, consultants, contractors, and distributors.
