The Company
Our client is a dynamic, industry leading, manufacturer and supplier of Power Supply solutions. As a global brand in the Power Electronics market, this organisation offers an incredible platform for proactive salespeople to achieve fantastic results.
Following the retirement of a long-standing employee, they are now looking to recruit an industry experienced Regional Sales Manager to manage accounts and generate new opportunities in the North.
The Role & Responsibilities
- The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the development of new and existing customer accounts
- Achieving financial and Design-In targets
- Providing quotations to customers and following through to close
- Prepare annual key account and sales plans to further increase sales in the region
- You will have direct responsibility for the front end of the sales process, including researching and targeting potential clients, lead generation, qualification and account development.
The position will be supported by an experienced team of sales support and technical engineers. The position will be home based and will involve regular travel to customer sites.
Qualifications and Skills required:
- A proven track record of sales achievement in the Electronics market
- Strong technical understanding of Power Electronics and Power Supplies
- Degree, or equivalent, in electrical engineering
- A track record of working autonomously from a home office
- Dynamic, upbeat, lively character with the capacity to inspire confidence from first contact
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Full UK driving licence
