A leading engineering and technology organisation within the electric vehicle infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to support its continued expansion in the commercial fleet and ultra-rapid charging market. This is a high-impact role offering the chance to shape market entry strategies, develop key industry relationships, and drive growth across cutting-edge EV charging, grid infrastructure and DC microgrid solutions.

The Role
Reporting into senior commercial leadership, you will take ownership of identifying, developing and securing profitable sales opportunities across target markets. You will act as a key interface between customers and internal engineering and commercial teams, ensuring solutions meet both technical and commercial requirements. You will also play a strategic role in helping shape product development, market expansion and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sustainable sales growth across EV charging and supporting energy infrastructure solutions
- Develop and manage key customer accounts and long-term partnerships
- Identify new business opportunities, markets and routes to entry
- Lead commercial and technical solution discussions with customers
- Deliver persuasive proposals and value-driven sales presentations
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to internal teams
- Support tender submissions and bid preparation
- Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions and conferences
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product and marketing teams
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Essential Experience
- Proven track record selling EV charging solutions or energy infrastructure products
- Strong network of contacts within the EV, fleet, or energy sectors
- Experience managing technical and commercial sales processes
Desirable Experience
- Background within utilities or wider energy markets
- Experience with DC microgrids or power infrastructure solutions
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Sales training or industry-recognised certification (Electrical or Electronic Engineering background would be advantageous.)
