Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager to grow and manage their presence across London and the South East. This is a field-based role focused on developing relationships, winning new business, and increasing sales across our lighting product portfolio.
You will work closely with electrical wholesalers, contractors, consultants, and specifiers, acting as the face of the business in your territory.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow sales across a defined London territory
- Develop strong relationships with wholesalers, contractors, consultants, and key accounts
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Promote and specify lighting products into commercial and residential projects
- Deliver product presentations and on-site support where required
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and project pipelines
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
- 3+ years proven experience in sales within the lighting or electrical industry
- Strong understanding of the London construction and specification market
