Our client, a well-established, industry-leading transport planning and highways consultancy, is seeking a Senior Transport Planner to support continued growth. The role offers the opportunity to lead technical delivery across a range of development, civil engineering, and local authority projects throughout the UK.
The Role:
- Preparation and review of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans
- Junction capacity modelling using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
- Technical oversight of reports, drawings, and data outputs
- Liaison with clients, developers, contractors, and local/highway authorities
- Managing project delivery to programme and budget
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Input into feasibility studies and highways & transport advice
About You:
- Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or similar
- Strong experience in UK transport planning and development-led schemes
- Confident using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
- Comfortable managing projects and stakeholder relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
