We’re looking for a part time youth worker to join our staff team.

In this role you’ll pioneer youth outreach and schools work sharing the good news of Jesus with the young people of Wokingham.

You’ll also lead a team of volunteers to invest in and walk alongside our youth group, encouraging and equipping them to grow more like Jesus and to join Him in His mission in their everyday lives.

We are seeking a passionate and committed Christian to join our team as a part-time
Youth Worker. This role is key to pioneering youth outreach and schools work in
Wokingham, while also supporting and investing in our existing church youth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead outreach initiatives to engage young people in the local
  community and schools.
• Lead and support a team of volunteers in planning and delivering regular youth
  sessions for church and unchurched youth.
• Work closely with church leadership to integrate youth ministry into the wider life of
  the church.
• Build strong relationships with young people, providing pastoral care and spiritual
  guidance.
• Develop collaborative working and joint initiatives with other local churches and
  charities, where appropriate.
• Proven experience in youth work.
• A committed Christian with a passion for discipling young people.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Relevant qualifications in youth work and/or theology.

HOURS, PAY & TERMS

• Part-time position, 16 hours per week
• Flexible working arrangements.
• 5 weeks paid holiday (pro rata) plus UK Bank Holidays/Public Holidays
