We are recruiting for an experienced Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ) Officer to join our established and supportive HSEQ team in Swatragh. This is a full‑time role on a 12‑month contract, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs as we continue to grow. You’ll be joining a steady, well‑structured department that supports safe working practices across a busy manufacturing environment. The focus of the role is practical, day‑to‑day HSEQ support ensuring compliance, maintaining standards, and helping keep our workplace safe and well organised.

Essential- NEBOSH General Certificate or relevant H&S qualification
- Strong IT skills with confident use of Microsoft Office
- Experience in writing and producing clear, structured reports
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar HSEQ role
- Experience in risk assessments and developing safe systems of work
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Genuine interest in health, safety, environmental and quality standards

Main Duties & Responsibilities- Health & Safety Documentation & Communication
- Developing and issuing H&S materials as required
- Supporting the promotion of positive safety behaviours and a strong safety culture
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and statutory requirements
- Communicating risk assessments, safe systems of work and other key information to relevant staff
- Risk Assessments & Controls
- Conducting and reviewing risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work
- Implementing agreed corrective actions and risk control measures
- Assisting in incident (accident/near miss) investigations and follow‑up reporting
- Operational Oversight & Coordination
- Supervising subcontractors on site to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved RAMS
- Supporting site inspections, identifying non‑conformances and assisting in preventative and corrective actions
- Monitoring emergency preparedness measures and coordinating improvements where required
- Training & Compliance Support
- Assisting with induction training processes
- Coordinating internal and external training for staff
- Managing aspects of health surveillance in line with company requirements
- Environmental & Waste Management
- Monitoring environmental impacts and promoting awareness across the site
- Supporting the control of waste streams and liaising with waste carriers as needed
- Equipment & Maintenance Tracking
- Coordinating calibration, maintenance, repairs and associated documentation
- Supporting corrective actions where issues are identified
- Internal Auditing & Administration
- Carrying out internal audits as required
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance documentation is kept up to date
- General Support
- Assisting with onsite inspections (full training provided)
- Carrying out additional duties as required
- Technical, Managerial / Operational
- Legal entitlement to work in the UK
- NEBOSH General Certificate or relevant H&S degree.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working in a similar role.
- Experience working in the manufacturing environment.
