Overview
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Associate Director is responsible for the successful delivery of client projects while collaborating on the strategic direction and vision of the region and company as a whole. As a part of this role, an Associate Director will also assist in streamlining project delivery by supporting post‑sales activities including project set‑up tasks, coordination of project‑initiation steps with the client and/or target companies, analysis of client/target situations, and internal coordination of project team members as necessary. The Associate Director will collaborate with and be supported by other key team members responsible for the project team.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist with client‑facing projects to deliver projects that meet their objectives on time and on budget.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on engagements as needed.
- Coordinate and perform internal project kick‑off tasks.
- Research client/target information as part of a project and provide assessments to advance overall project delivery.
- Facilitate internal team communication and ensure team members have the necessary information for the next steps.
- Initiate and maintain delivery‑related data in Salesforce and/or PSA systems as needed.
- Ensure all necessary project tasks are completed in a timely manner and client deadlines are consistently met.
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial DNA with clear ownership of execution and delivery client satisfaction.
- Excellent manager of people and clients.
- Previous project management experience.
- Experience managing multiple small‑to‑mid sized projects at once.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in an extremely fast‑paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Information Technology and/or M&A.
- Insightful and curious attitude towards business operations in a variety of industries.
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset with exceptional problem‑solving skills.
