We are a social enterprise cafe serving quality food at good price. This position of Cafe Service Supervisor will report to the Cafe Manager. He or She will support the Cafe Manager in overseeing day-to-day front of house operations to deliver a high level of service for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and settle down guests according to standards.
- Take food and drink orders and provide recommendations where needed.
- Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff.
- Support the Cafe Manager in administrative duties including dealing with vendors, staff roster, billing, daily report and duty assignments.
- Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements to our menus.
- Handle and resolve issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Manage a team of staff under supervision, including supporting staff members with special needs.
- Conduct briefing and updates for the staff.
- Carry out regular checks of all areas of the cafe to ensure cleanliness and tidiness at all times and the functionality of all facilities.
- Perform any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Cafe Manager.
