Position

Warehouse and Inventory Specialist

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $45–$60/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: Approximately 6 weeks

Commitment: 10-40 hours/week, fully remote and asynchronous

Role Responsibilities

  • Write realistic tasks and scenarios that reflect day-to-day operations within shipping, receiving, and warehouse management environments
  • Create detailed cases involving shipment processing, receiving inspections, inventory tracking, warehouse layout organization, and documentation workflows
  • Develop training and validation scenarios addressing stock control, carrier coordination, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution
  • Review and evaluate AI responses for realism, adherence to logistics best practices, and inventory management standards
  • Provide structured reporting and feedback to enhance AI understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control
  • Collaborate periodically with research teams to assess the accuracy and efficiency of generated warehouse scenarios

Ideal Qualifications

  • Strong professional experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics setting
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, material handling, and stockflow optimization
  • Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar)
  • Excellent written communication, organization, and analytical skills
