Role Responsibilities
- Identify and articulate foundational open problems and simulation challenges.
- Guide AI models in multi-step research processes, including proofs and simulations.
- Critically assess and validate results using proof checks and formal methods.
- Evaluate and document the novelty and significance of research outputs.
- Produce research memos detailing attempts, solutions, and model limitations.
- Advise on research directions and recommend promising subfields.
Requirements
- Have strong relevant experience in computer science or computational physics with scholarly contributions.
- Recognition at the field level, such as major prizes or society fellowships.
- Consistent publication record in leading venues within your domain.
- Demonstrated success resolving open problems or introducing influential concepts.
- Deep experience with computational research methods and high-performance computing.
