Position: Contract Law AI Tutor

Commitment: Minimum of 20 hours/week, Ideal 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities:
- Guide AI research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in Contract Law.
- Create and maintain precise annotation standards tailored to Contract Law.
- Translate tacit legal expertise into explicit, teachable knowledge for AI systems.
- Develop guidelines and detailed rubrics/evaluation frameworks to assess legal reasoning across tasks.
- Design challenging, domain-relevant legal tasks and write accurate, well-structured solutions to legal problems.
- Evaluate legal tasks and solutions and provide clear, written feedback.
- Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school or advanced degree in a relevant field from a top-tier university.
- Strong professional Contract Law experience at a reputable institution, excluding internships or clerkships.
- Strong understanding of Contract Law principles and legal reasoning.
- Proven ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable guidelines for AI training.
- Exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote settings.
- Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported).
