Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and organize expert-level financial planning content aligned with structured project guidelines.
  • Review, interpret, and translate special needs financial plans into clear, consistent documentation.
  • Validate and refine content related to special needs trusts (first-party and third-party).
  • Evaluate and document ABLE account strategies and benefits-preserving financial approaches.
  • Apply expert judgment to guardianship-adjacent financial planning considerations.
  • Ensure accuracy around SSI and Medicaid eligibility rules, including income and asset treatment.
  • Address common financial planning transitions such as adulthood planning, inheritance strategies, and lifetime care preservation.
  • Provide structured feedback to improve dataset clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with project stakeholders and meet delivery timelines.

Requirements

  • Strong professional background in special needs financial planning, disability-focused financial services, or elder law planning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in special needs trusts, ABLE accounts, and benefits-preserving asset strategies.
  • Advanced understanding of SSI and Medicaid financial eligibility standards.
  • Experience supporting families of individuals with disabilities through long-term planning and life transitions.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory concepts into clear, plain-language content.
  • High attention to detail and comfort working within structured documentation frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
