Position Generalist – Hourly contract
Compensation: $35–$45/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Create realistic base prompts across a wide range of generalist topics for AI training.
- Review, evaluate, and refine AI-generated responses for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with human reasoning.
- Develop prompt–response iterations using variations in length, tone, style, and system instructions.
- Identify failure points and inconsistencies in model outputs to support benchmarking efforts.
- Apply consistent quality standards across diverse task types such as summaries, Q&A, and synthesis tasks.
- Collaborate asynchronously with research teams supporting supervised fine‐tuning of frontier models.
Requirements:
- Strong professional background in research, education, writing, editing, or adjacent analytical fields.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong critical thinking skills and high attention to detail.
- Comfort working independently with evolving guidelines and minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with LLMs or AI-assisted writing tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
