Base pay range: $60.00/hr - $70.00/hr
Type: Part-time, project-based (10–20 hours/week)
Role Responsibilities:
- Author and review prompts and ideal responses across core biological subfields
- Provide detailed and accurate answers for multiple prompt types, including synthesis, summarization, and open/closed QA
- Review and refine model-generated responses to improve accuracy and clarity
- Identify prompt structures that effectively challenge state-of-the-art AI models
- Adjust tone and structure to align with different system personas (e.g., expert vs. generalist)
- Contribute to long-term supervised fine-tuning dataset development initiatives
Requirements:
- PhD in Biology or a closely related life science discipline
- Deep expertise in one or more subfields (e.g., molecular biology, evolutionary biology, neurobiology)
- Strong written communication skills with high attention to scientific accuracy
- Prior experience writing or editing instructional or scientific content is preferred
- Familiarity with AI or large language models is a plus, but not required
