Role Responsibilities
- Critically assess target validation strategies, assay design, and screening data quality.
- Interpret SAR trends and guide hit-to-lead and lead optimization decisions.
- Evaluate mechanistic hypotheses, protein–ligand interactions, and potency/selectivity trade-offs.
- Analyze developability risks including drugability, safety, and liability considerations.
- Review preclinical pharmacology and ADME data and recommend follow-up experiments.
- Summarize scientific findings in structured formats for AI training and expert review.
- Communicate complex scientific insights clearly in written and verbal formats.
Requirements
- PhD in Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Biology, or related field, or MS/BS with strong years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong years of industry experience in drug discovery, lead optimization, biologics engineering, or assay development.
- Expertise in preclinical evaluation, mechanistic analysis, lead optimization, and target validation.
- Strong ability to critically assess scientific literature and complex preclinical datasets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
