Role Responsibilities
- Develop benchmark tasks to evaluate AI models' abilities to autonomously design and execute complex bioinformatics workflows.
- Work with raw sequencing data and natural language prompts to simulate real-world bioinformatics scenarios.
- Apply tool proficiency, deep biological knowledge, and rigorous scientific reasoning to create and validate these benchmarks.
- Collaborate asynchronously with a highly skilled research team.
Ideal Candidate
- Current graduate student or degree holder (M.S., Ph.D., Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Scientist) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or similar quantitative field.
- Experienced with bioinformatics command line tools.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
