Position: Buyside Analyst – Finance
Type: Hourly Contract
Compensation: $105/hour
Location: United States (remote)
Commitment: Flexible hours
Role Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth financial analysis including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable, and precedent transaction analyses
- Conduct industry and company research with a focus on AI and technology sectors
- Prepare investment memos, theses, and deliver presentations for investment committees
- Monitor portfolio performance, track risks, and analyse macroeconomic and sector developments
- Support due diligence processes for private investments and partnerships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA designation or advanced degree preferred
- Strong experience in buy-side research, asset management, venture capital, private equity, or investment banking
- Strong Excel financial modeling and PowerPoint presentation skills
- Familiarity with financial databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Pitchbook, and FactSet
- Excellent communication abilities, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
- Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported)
