Position: Exceptional Software Engineers
Type: Hourly Contract · Remote
Compensation: $70–$110/hour (based on experience)
Duration: Ongoing · Part-time, ~10-20 hours/week

Responsibilities
- Support the development of high-performance systems to meet the needs of next-generation machine learning applications.
- Configure environments, design databases, and create scalable APIs and service layers that interface with advanced AI models.
- Leverage coding agents as part of your software engineering workflow.
- Collaborate with the research team to build and improve systems with advanced AI models.
- Provide expert-level solutions in SQL and database structuring.
- Lead teams to design and build complex database schemas.
- Contribute to the creation, testing, and integration of APIs for smooth system functionality.
Qualifications
- Strong professional experience as an elite software engineer in demanding environments such as top-tier technology startups, quantitative trading firms, hedge funds, or similar.
- Experience using coding agents in your software engineering workflow.
- Access to large codebases you own.
- Expertise in SQL, database design, and API development.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
- Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported).
