Role Responsibilities
- Manage, structure, and curate large-scale e-commerce product catalogs to ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
- Develop, implement, and refine product taxonomy frameworks to simulate real-world e-commerce classifications and browsing experiences.
- Normalize and map product data sourced from diverse databases while applying best practices in structured dataset management.
- Create and model realistic shopping scenarios that reflect authentic consumer behavior and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with AI development teams to define data needs and optimize catalog structures for scalable AI training.
- Document workflows, taxonomies, and metadata structures with clear and concise written communication.
Requirements
- Have demonstrated experience in product catalog management and e-commerce merchandising operations.
- Possess proficiency with SQL and NoSQL database concepts, schema design, and product data modeling.
- Have a strong command of product taxonomy development, categorization, and data normalization methods.
- Have a deep understanding of structured dataset management, including large and complex e-commerce catalogs.
- Have experience building data-driven shopping experiences and simulating consumer journeys.
