Position Details

Position: Chemistry Expert

Type: Contractor / Freelancer (no medical or paid leave)

Compensation: $35–$60/hour (location-dependent)

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Review and verify AI-generated chemistry content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and logical consistency.
  • Develop and solve chemistry problems (organic, inorganic, physical chemistry, analytical methods, spectroscopy) to probe model limitations.
  • Provide detailed, structured feedback and corrections to refine model outputs.
  • Help define new evaluation benchmarks aligned with STEM curricula across levels.
  • Collaborate remotely with LLM researchers and internal engineering teams to guide output quality.

Candidate Requirements

  • Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD/Postdoc) in Chemistry or related discipline.
  • Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and research skills.
  • Creative and lateral thinking abilities.
  • Excellent written communication and collaboration in a remote setting.
  • Ability to provide constructive, detailed annotations.
