We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils’ learning and development under the guidance of teaching staff. The role involves working with individuals and small groups, including pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), to help them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
You will support the delivery of learning activities, assist with classroom management, and contribute to creating an inclusive, positive learning environment. The role includes helping to implement EHCPs, behaviour plans, and personal care programmes where required, while promoting independence, engagement, and achievement.
The successful candidate will build strong relationships with pupils, uphold high expectations, and support their social and emotional development. You will also assist with monitoring progress, providing feedback to teachers, preparing learning resources, and maintaining pupil records.
