- Shape solution design for governance transformation, including changes to the underwriting governance framework and the development of new or enhanced underwriting standards.

- Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders, ensuring workstreams progress with clear accountability, milestones, and delivery discipline.
- Underwriting Governance Stewardship
- Own designated areas of Group-level underwriting governance, ensuring they remain fit for purpose and future‑ready.
- Lead updates and improvements to underwriting standards, referral principles, and authority frameworks.
- Champion consistent interpretation and application of underwriting governance across all business units.
- Partner with Business Units, Risk Management, Compliance, and operational teams to support effective governance implementation and workflows.
- Drive the implementation of underwriting governance requirements into underwriting data, tools, systems, workflows, and workbench capabilities across business units.
- Lead adoption and simplification of governance‑related tooling and workflows, always balancing best practice with practical business needs.
- Facilitate cross‑business‑unit alignment and the sharing of best practices related to underwriting governance tooling and implementation.

You are pragmatic, delivery‑focused, and energized by the challenge of turning governance strategy into practical, scalable solutions.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- 8+ years of re/insurance experience in underwriting, underwriting governance, contracts & wording, risk management, or similar areas.

- Proven solutioning and design skills, with the ability to shape practical, scalable options for complex governance, process, and implementation challenges.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities, with a track record of driving alignment across business units and group functions including Data & Technology, Risk Management, Legal, and Compliance.
- Delivery‑focused mindset, with demonstrated ability to manage implementation, dependencies, and execution in a fast‑moving, cross‑functional environment.
These are additional nice to haves:
- Exposure across both P&C and L&H business lines.
- Experience working with data, tools, systems, and workflows in an underwriting or governance context.
