As a member of our small Stations Team your role will predominantly involve liaising with other Train Operators and investigating station delays using Industry software (training will be provided).
You will also visit stations across our network to perform ‘Station Experience’ audits using our customised app, feeding back the results to station management and following up on any recommended improvements.
Other tasks include liaising with stations, for instance in regard to planned engineering work as well as providing general support to the Station Liaison Manager and Station Contracts Manager; this could include attending meetings, both internal and, on occasion, external.
There is variety in the role and you will ideally possess:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good time management skills
- Ability to think outside the box
- Good general IT skills
- Effective analytical skills/ attention to detail
Although the role is based in Birmingham a substantial part of your time is likely to be spent travelling around the CrossCountry rail network so we would also welcome applications from outside the West Midlands.
