Cross Works is seeking Urban Designers & Architectural Assistants (Part 2) with advanced software capabilities to join its growing team in London. We are a friendly, enthusiastic and highly motivated collective looking to grow sustainably to meet an increased demand across a number of sectors and geographies. The new recruits will work on large-scale international masterplanning / urban design and city planning schemes, and architectural projects, amongst other types of creative work.

The following knowledge and capabilities will be required in order to be shortlisted for an interview:

  • Qualifications (MA / Part 2 minimum) in urban design, architecture or landscape design
  • Demonstrable professional experience in large scale urban design projects
  • Excellent command of Rhino is absolutely essential for this role, and Revit is a 'good to have'. (Note: No other CAD packages are relevant to this specific role.)
  • Excellent command of Adobe Creative Suite / MS Office is also expected as standard
  • Parametric skills and demonstrable capabilities in urban analytics / environmental analysis is desirable
  • Ability to use GIS is beneficial
  • Friendly and conscientious, with strong communication skills
  • A passion for design and technology
  • A team player

Competitive salary dependent on experience and capabilities. This position will require working in our offices in Camden Town (in central London), 5 days per week. Remote or hybrid working is not offered for this role. Eligibility to work in the UK is required for this position.
