Job Description
Cross Works is seeking talented landscape designer to join its growing team in London.
We are a friendly, enthusiastic and highly motivated collective, looking to grow sustainably to meet an increased demand across a number of sectors. The new recruits will work on large-scale international masterplanning schemes / megaprojects, and assist on other design projects at a variety of scales and typologies, amongst other types of creative work.
The following knowledge and capabilities will be required in order to be shortlisted for an interview:
- experienced landscape designer with at least five years of professional experience (i.e. in practice)
- excellent design skills with demonstrable experience on projects at multiple scales; experience on larger scale masterplans, urban quarters and public realm projects will be required for this role
- ability to lead a project's day-to-day workflow, and delegate tasks to junior team members
- ability and flexibility to work across multiple projects if / when required
- excellent command of Rhino is absolutely essential; whilst Revit knowledge is useful (but not essential)
- please note, that AutoCAD / Sketchup / Microstation / Vectorworks / ArchiCAD are not relevant for this role
- ability to use Adobe Creative Suite / MS Office is expected as standard
- parametric design skills are a bonus, whilst knowledge of GIS is beneficial; these are not essential however
- friendly and conscientious, with strong communication skills
- a passion for teamwork and collaboration
Competitive salary, dependent on experience and capabilities.
This position will require working in an office environment in Camden, London (5 days per week).
Remote / hybrid-working is not negotiable for this role.
