Schedule and Hours
- Pack Season
- Approx. July through September
- 12-hr shifts
- Day shift: 5:30am to 6:00pm
- Night shift: 5:30pm to 6:00am
- Employees stay on their assigned shift for the entire pack season
- Typical weekly hours average around 60 hrs
- Days off follow a rotating pattern, generally: 7 on / 2 off
- Occasional 3-day weekends, not guaranteed
- Approx. October through June
- 4x10 schedule Monday through Thursday
- 40 hrs per week
- Limited weekend work

Pay
- Typical starting range: $26.00 to $28.00/hr
- Night shift differential: $0.30/hr

What You Will Work On
- Inspect, maintain, and repair processing and packaging equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues impacting production
- Support uptime during pack and major maintenance projects during off-pack
- Perform preventive maintenance and document work accurately
- Work on sorters, encoders, and mechanical systems requiring higher technical aptitude
- Support equipment rebuilds, installs, and upgrades
- Follow food safety, GMP, and safety standards
- Work closely with other mechanics and production teams
This is a team-based maintenance environment. Mechanics are not expected to troubleshoot everything alone.
