12 Month Fixed Term Contract – Maternity Cover

We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in selling our shared ownership homes, supporting customers throughout their homeownership journey and helping us achieve our ambitious sales targets.

About the Role

As a Sales Executive, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, providing a professional and responsive service from initial enquiry through to completion.

You'll work closely with the Sales Manager, colleagues and external partners, you will support the marketing and sales of Shared Ownership homes, including new-build developments as well as resale and staircasing transactions, if required. You will guide customers through the sales process, assessing eligibility and affordability, arranging property viewings and ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll contribute to marketing activity and lead generation, maintain accurate sales records, work closely with solicitors, mortgage advisors and our Development team, and help ensure homes are ready for successful handover and completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer enquiries and guide customers through the Shared Ownership sales journey from enquiry to completion
  • Conduct property viewings and assess customer eligibility and affordability
  • Support the sale of new-build Shared Ownership homes, alongside resale and staircasing transactions where required
  • Progress sales through the conveyancing and mortgage process, working closely with solicitors, mortgage advisors and other external partners
  • Build positive customer relationships and deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Contribute to marketing activity and lead generation to maximise sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, valuations and marketing information across internal systems and digital platforms
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure homes are ready for handover and sales objectives are achieved
  • Contribute to achieving team sales targets and key performance indicators

What you'll bring

  • Experience of working in a target-driven environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of shared ownership, property sales, housing, resales, staircasing or a related sector.
  • A good understanding of the property sales and conveyancing process
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
