About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Disrepair Coordinator to join our team and make a real impact.

In this critical role, you’ll take ownership of disrepair cases from start to finish—ensuring they are handled efficiently, compliantly, and with a genuine commitment to delivering a positive customer experience. You’ll be at the heart of the action, bringing together internal teams, contractors, and legal partners to drive timely resolutions and uphold excellent housing standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of disrepair claims from initial notification through to resolution
  • Liaise with legal teams, surveyors, contractors, and tenants to coordinate timely repairs
  • Ensure all cases are handled in line with relevant legislation, policies, and timeframes
  • Monitor progress of works, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit trails
  • Prepare case summaries, reports, and updates for stakeholders
  • Support legal proceedings, including provision of documentation and evidence where required
  • Identify trends and contribute to service improvements to reduce future disrepair cases

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Experienced in housing, repairs, property services, or a similar environment
  • Confident managing multiple cases and working to strict deadlines
  • An effective communicator, able to liaise with a range of stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with legal processes and sensitive information
  • Proficient in IT systems and maintaining accurate records

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working in social housing, property management and/or disrepair.
  • Knowledge of disrepair processes, housing legislation, and compliance requirements
  • Experience working with contractors and managing repairs programmes
