Are you passionate about ensuring safe and compliant housing? Do you thrive in a role that combines data management, customer service, and regulatory oversight? We’re looking for a dedicated Compliance Coordinator to join our team and help us meet our statutory obligations under Awaabs Law.

About the Role

As our Compliance Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring tenant-reported hazards are addressed swiftly and thoroughly. You’ll manage the end-to-end process from logging reports to overseeing investigations and repairs, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, log, and triage tenant hazard reports, ensuring urgent issues are prioritised.
  • Track all stages of hazard response using robust data systems.
  • Provide regular compliance reports to management.
  • Ensure investigations and remedial works are initiated within required timescales.
  • Communicate empathetically and clearly with tenants, including written summaries within 3 working days.
  • Monitor contractor performance against Awaabs Law standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and analyse trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.

  • Experience in customer service, complaint resolution, and report writing.
  • Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
