Cross Keys Homes are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their dynamic Finance team. In this crucial role, you’ll support the Finance Manager in producing monthly management reports, preparing budgets and forecasts, and delivering high-quality financial insights to key stakeholders across the business.

You’ll act as a trusted business partner, helping managers and budget holders understand their financial performance and make informed decisions. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining financial controls, supporting audits, and enhancing our reporting systems—including Power BI.

Please note: While this role is primarily remote, the successful candidate must be able to travel to our Peterborough head office occasionally when required.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and board reports.

• Lead on accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide financial advice and challenge assumptions to ensure value for money.
• Maintain the general ledger and support statutory reporting.
• Act as a "super user" for our financial systems (Open Accounts).
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and templates.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• With 4-5 years of experience within the social housing sector.
• Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and challenge.
• Experience working with budget holders and senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of financial systems (Open Accounts preferred) and Power BI.
