Full Time 37 Hours per week Permanent. We have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Planned and Cyclical Works Team as a Property Surveyor. This role will be responsible for delivering a high-quality customer focused professional service to provide technical solutions and support on repairs and maintenance issues related to damp, mould and disrepair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out building inspections and provide accurate diagnosis, specifying remedial works and ensuring their completion and post inspection.
- Undertake surveys and inspections in compliance with HHSRS regulations, identify, analyse and provide remediation advice on damp and mould, produce specifications, defects analysis, drawings, tender documentation and feasibility studies/technical reports.
- Visit all disrepair cases within 48 hours of a claim being received charged with quickly resolving claims, turning them into complaints rather than disrepair claims where possible.
- Work closely with the admin support team around disrepair in making sure we have a professional, swift and proactive approach to all claims.
- Look at causal factors around disrepair claims and work with the admin support on doing a deep dive into all claims.
- Ensure Health and Safety (CDM) compliance for all projects are undertaken and that we discharge our duty in line with all relevant legislation.
What We're Looking For:
- Ideally has a construction-related qualification.
- Has experience of diagnosing building repairs and defects including carrying out building surveys.
- Is a strong and confident communicator (both verbally and written) to be able to deal effectively with members of the public and internal stakeholders.
- Has a keen eye for detail.
- Has previous project management experience.
- Has good working knowledge of construction technology.
- A full, clean UK driving license and vehicle to use for business use.
