We are looking for a dedicated Community Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team, providing high-quality care to vulnerable individuals in their own homes across Peterborough.
About the role:
As a Community Care Assistant, you will support clients to remain independent, comfortable and safe in their own homes. Every day is different, and you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while providing person-centred care.
Please note that there may be occasional gaps between scheduled calls, so we're looking for people within / local to Peterborough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting clients with meal preparation
- Assisting with light household and domestic tasks
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Supporting mobility and independence
- Assisting with medication administration
Pay Rates:
- Weekdays: £16 per hour
- Weekends: £16.64 per hour
- 45p per mile mileage allowance
Working Hours:
We offer contracted hours up to 20 per week and you can work additional hours on a flexible basis, depending upon how busy the service is
You’ll be expected to work on a set rota basis, including: mornings, evenings and alternate weekends
Mornings: 7am - 2:30pm
Evenings: 4pm - 10pm
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with access to your own car
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided
- Female only due to the specific needs and preferences of our clients
