As our Compliance Assurance Officer, you’ll play an important role in supporting the quality, accuracy and integrity of compliance and operational data across the organisation.

Working within our Governance & Compliance team, you’ll monitor compliance performance, identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide accurate reporting and analysis to support effective decision-making.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Maintain, monitor and improve the quality, accuracy and integrity of compliance and operational data.
  • Conduct regular data validation and assurance activities to identify discrepancies, trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and communicate weekly compliance reporting, analyse performance and work proactively with teams to improve outcomes and regulatory compliance.
  • Produce timely high-quality written compliance, performance and data quality reports for senior management and governance meetings.
  • Collaborate with teams to investigate issues, implement solutions and improve processes.
  • Develop and maintain compliance monitoring frameworks, controls and reporting mechanisms.
  • Provide guidance and support on data quality standards, governance requirements and compliance processes.
  • Contribute to process improvements and provide guidance on data standards.
  • What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Experience working within a compliance, governance, assurance, performance or data quality environment.
  • Strong ability to analyse information, identify trends and make practical recommendations.
  • Experience producing reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information into clear and meaningful insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and familiarity with database systems.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of social housing regulation and compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and assurance frameworks.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working with large datasets and providing actionable insights
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements within the housing sector.

Qualifications

  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent experience.
  • Professional qualification or training in data analysis and/or reporting.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
