We’re excited to offer a newly created opportunity for a talented and motivated Team Leader Property Lettings to join Cross Keys Homes. As our new Team Leader, you’ll guide a dedicated team and take ownership of delivering an efficient, customer-focused lettings service that supports our communities and strengthens our reputation. In this key leadership role, you will:
- Lead and motivate a diverse team, ensuring excellent customer service at every stage of the lettings journey.
- Manage the full lettings process from vacancy management to allocations, garage lettings, and mutual exchanges.
- Minimise void periods and drive improvements in key-to-key times.
- Provide expert guidance on legislation, policies, and best practice.
- Oversee budget management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Produce high-quality performance reports and insights for senior management.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, partner agencies, local authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Support customers requiring temporary or emergency accommodation.
- Champion customer engagement and ensure service improvements reflect customer insight.
You’ll bring:
- Solid understanding of property law, landlord/tenant legislation, nomination agreements, and lettings best practice.
- Background in housing or property management, ideally in a regulated environment.
- Proven success in leading high-performing teams.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft applications).
- Experience with complaint handling and delivering customer-focused services.
You’ll be:
- A confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills.
- An excellent communicator (written, verbal, and presentation).
- Have the ability to influence across teams and build strong working relationships.
- Highly organised, adaptable, and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Comfortable analysing data and reporting on KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Relevant vocational qualification or diploma.
- CIH Level 3 or 4, or working towards (desirable but not essential).
Additional information:
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Access to an insured vehicle for business use.
- DBS Check required.
