A rapidly growing venture-backed SaaS company is hiring a Business Development Representative to help drive new customer acquisition and expand recurring revenue across the UK market. The company delivers cloud-based financial management software designed for ambitious mid-market businesses, enabling multi-entity organizations to manage financial data with greater efficiency and control.

This role is ideal for a high-energy outbound sales professional who enjoys prospecting, building pipeline, and turning cold leads into qualified sales opportunities.

The Opportunity

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new prospects, generating qualified sales meetings, and building a strong pipeline that supports revenue growth. You will work closely with sales and marketing teams to convert interest into opportunities while promoting the brand across the market.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via calls, email, and social channels
  • Generate new opportunities and qualified meetings for the sales team
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers
  • Develop strategic target account lists within defined industries
  • Present and articulate the company's SaaS value proposition to prospects
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads using a consultative sales approach
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking using Salesforce CRM
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, events, and lead generation initiatives
  • Stay informed on industry trends and developments within financial software
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years experience in outbound sales or cold calling
  • Experience working in high-volume prospecting environments
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Ability to consistently work toward measurable sales targets
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and comfortable handling rejection
  • Team-oriented with a strong drive for professional growth
