Purpose of the job
The role of the Inspector is to be responsible for ensuring all parts are fully inspected and have passed the customer specific quality standards before they are sent out to the customer.
You will be trained in all of the processes in Inspection to be able to support in this role.
Key Responsibilities
You will be trained in the following.
- Operational Responsibilities
- Using a Romer Arm and Power Inspect.
- The process of inspecting parts to make sure that they are in line with customer requirements whether this be mid process or prior to despatch.
- Communicate all non-conformances to appropriate personnel.
- Record all non-conformances on internal quality management database.
- Ensure that the inspection department is compliant with the quality management system and company procedures.
- High proportion of inspection will be focussing on the cosmetic appearance of the panels.
- Ensure all measuring equipment is kept in good working order and calibrated accordingly.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
SKILLS
- Be able to work in a fast paced / high pressure industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communicational and written skills.
- Capable of reaching set targets within given time.
- Good knowledge about all common computer applications.
