Project Coordinator

Crosby Composites is a leading carbon fibre engineering company supplying components worldwide to sectors such as Formula One, Motorsport, and Automotive. Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting new team members across our sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our business.
This role involves a day shift, Monday to Friday, with core hours from 8am to 4:30pm. We offer competitive pay, a company pension, 23 days of holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare, and an employee reward platform. Flexibility in hours is essential for success in this role.
The Project Coordinator is a vital part of our Projects team, working closely with Project Managers to ensure customer requirements are met, projects stay on track, and we continue to deliver successful outcomes.
The main responsibilities include supporting Project Managers by completing various tasks and projects set by management in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and attend meetings with department heads to discuss manufacturing materials and methods.
- Promptly prepare quotes based on agreed manufacturing materials and methods.
- Communicate project details clearly to Production Admin.
- Schedule work accurately to meet all timing requirements.
- Liaise with customers regarding current projects.
- Update the Project Management team on issues and progress.
- Ensure projects are controlled and completed successfully within targets.
- Follow the New Product Introduction (NPI) process to meet departmental requirements.
- Set up, organize, and update customer folders on the company server.
- Organize and maintain stock, including free issue and bought-in items.
Skills:
- Engineering degree or relevant experience.
- Experience in a fast-paced/high-pressure environment, preferably in composites.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to meet targets within deadlines.
- Proficiency with common computer applications.
