Purpose of the job: The role of the HR Assistant is to support the day-to-day function at the Brackley site and to support the HR and Office Manager with any requirements. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in people/HR and be studying towards or have a L3 CIPD. This is a day shift, working Monday to Friday. Core hours are 8am to 4:30pm. We offer competitive rates of pay, company pension, 23 days holiday plus the bank holidays, private healthcare and the opportunity for overtime during peak periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the day to day administration for all HR related tasks, ensuring records are maintained accurately and are kept up to date on a daily basis.
- Ensure HR processes are maintained and up to date.
- Responsible for the monthly processing of the company payroll, ensuring the TNA has been updated by all department managers and the correct payroll data is sent for processing, within the agreed timescales to ensure all pay is paid on time and correctly.
- Prepare employment contracts and ensure all new starter and leaver documents are maintained.
- Pro-active monitoring of HR trackers including probationary reviews and employee absence and ensure managers are informed and any actions taken as required and in line with company policy and procedure.
- Support Department Managers in the recruitment process, ensuring adverts placed online and applications processed in a timely manner.
- First point of contact for the recruitment agency.
- Responsible for the recruitment at both sites and ensuring all correct documentation is issued out. Organising Interviews, sending out offers and contracts etc.
- Ensuring all new employees have a company induction, with all training and departmental meetings as per the induction process and that this is fully signed off as per the procedure.
- Providing front-line HR support in relation to employee relation matters, in line with company policies and procedures and current legislation.
- Oversee the maintenance of employee e-files in line with statutory and company requirements.
- Assisting with the day to day general correspondence.
- Supporting with IATF adherence and yearly auditing.
