Purpose of the job: To support the Melt-Out department while developing the skills, knowledge, and experience required to carry out the full Melt-Out Technician role to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of patterns, moulds, and castings
- Learn to use hand tools, small air tools, and abrasive materials safely and effectively
- Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced team members
- Support checking that drawings and route card instructions are clear and correct
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Assist in maintaining tools and equipment
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements
- Work both independently (when required) and as part of a team
- Actively participate in training and development opportunities
- Support continuous improvement activities within the department
Skills & Attributes:
