Purpose of the Job
To assist with the laminating of components and tooling across a range of industry sectors, sizes and complexities.
Key Responsibilities
- Final preparation of patterns and moulds.
- Using a variety of hand tools, small air tools and abrasive paper hand finish master patterns to the highest of standards.
- Spray sealer to patterns then post spraying preparation.
- Work to drawings and working instructions.
- Help develop processes to improve quality and efficiency.
- Ensure the department is kept clean and tidy.
Skills
- Previous experience in a pattern shop or similar environment.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Good attention to detail is essential.
- Able to follow work instructions.
- Good awareness of health and safety.
- Good verbal communication and listening skills.
