The Progression
- Starting Salary: £25,000 PA.
- The Jump: Rise to £27,500 after your initial 12-week training and probation.
- The Potential: With overtime and enhancements, our Junior Engineers typically earn between £32,000 – £38,000 PA.
The Training
You will undergo a comprehensive 12-week 'on-the-job' program. You’ll shadow experts across blue-chip sites, learning the installation, servicing, and repair of Fire Alarms, Voice Alarms, and Emergency Call Systems. We also provide a tailored, industry-recognised external training package to cement your qualifications.
What We’re Looking For
- A Technical Mind: You enjoy fixing things and understanding how systems work.
- The Basics: GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Reliability: A full UK driving license (max 3 points) and a willingness to travel.
- Ambition: A desire to progress within the Fire & Safety industry.
- Bonus Points: If you have City & Guilds Electrical Parts 1&2 or an ONC in Electronics, you'll have a head start (but it’s not essential!).
