Production Team Leader – Day Shift - Huntingdon, PE28
Full-time, weekly paid, 46 guaranteed hours per week
Pay: up to £14.40 depending on experience – full-time, permanent, and weekly paid
Circa £30,009 per annum
Six-month fixed-term contract with the potential for a permanent position
Location commutable from Peterborough, Huntingdon, St Neots, Thrapston, etc.
Shifts: Day Shift, 4 on 4 off, 07:00 - 19:30
What you’ll be doing:
- You will play a pivotal role in managing, leading, and inspiring Production and Machine Operators to run one of our production lines.
- You will advocate for best working practices by ensuring colleagues follow correct safety procedures and work alongside Quality Control to ensure the freshness of products.
- You will make active decisions in a fast-paced environment, regularly check KPIs, and suggest alternative ways to improve the efficiency of the line.
- You will promote a safe space for colleagues and be a valuable team player in contributing to the company culture and motivate your team to excellence.
- You will complete daily reports such as administration, report any breakdowns, and liaise with your Line Manager about any inefficiencies on the line.
About You:
- Experience within Fresh Produce / Food Production / FMCG environment or similar.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver timely results.
- Demonstrative experience to adapt to environments and make quick decisions, such as responding appropriately to solve problems.
- Continuously strive for excellence, empower, and motivate your team to work collaboratively.
- An awareness of the Production life cycle or willingness to learn.
£13.20 - £14.40 depending on experience
